Faster runs, a rebuilt approvals inbox and 40 new integrations. Here is everything that shipped in September.

Faster runs

We reworked how workflow steps start, trimming the wait between steps by about a third on typical workflows. Long chains of steps feel noticeably snappier, and nothing about your existing workflows needs to change.

A rebuilt approvals inbox

Approvals now live in one inbox, whether they started in Slack, email or the web app. Each item shows what the agent wants to do, why, and what will change, with one-click approve or decline and an optional comment.

  • Filter by workflow, requester or urgency.

  • Approve several similar requests at once.

  • Delegate approvals while you are away.

Forty new integrations

This month adds forty integrations across team chat, documents, billing, support and project tools. Connect an account once and use it in any workflow. The full list is in the integrations directory.

Smaller improvements

  • The workflow editor remembers your zoom level and layout.

  • Alerts can be sent to a channel, a person or a rota.

  • Permissions can now be set per workspace as well as per account.

  • Run history loads faster on large workspaces.

Most of what we shipped this month came from something a customer told us was slowing them down.

What is next

In October we are focusing on templates, a clearer view of what a workflow costs to run and deeper controls for administrators. As always, tell us what would help most.
